Pawel Lewicki has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and support. Pawel started their career in 2004 as a Broadcast System Administrator at Voice TV Network. Pawel then moved on to Accenture, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, providing system support and Java development for Barclays Bank. After that, they joined Yell as a Lead Web Support Engineer, deploying servers and providing support for their web applications. Pawel then joined John Wiley and Sons as a Web Support Engineer and MarkLogic Consultant, where they were responsible for server administration, performance improvements, and timely delivery of new functionality. Pawel later worked at Royal Bank of Scotland as a GBM eCommerce Support Engineer, providing 2nd/3rd line support for their trading and eCommerce environments. Pawel then joined VocaLink as a DevOps - Application Support Engineer before their most recent role as Lead DevOps Engineer at Defra.

Pawel Lewicki obtained a Bachelor's degree in Network Computing from Brunel University London from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree from Akademia Polonijna w Częstochowie in Honours Banking & Finance between 1999 and 2004. In addition, they hold several certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2018 and Puppet Certified Professional in 2016. Pawel has also received certifications in areas such as Citrix NetScaler administration, Scrum Master training, Web Programming with JavaScript, ITIL Foundation, and Marklogic Administration. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in Java and software development, including Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition 5.0 Certification from Sun Microsystems in 2007.
