⌨ Philip Benson

Philip Benson has over 19 years of work experience in the software development field. ⌨️ Philip has worked as a Lead Software Developer for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where they led a development team focusing on node.js. Prior to this, they were a Lead Developer at Canopy, where they acted as the front-end lead for React Native and React Native Web projects. ⌨️ Philip also worked as a Lead Developer at Pace IT Systems Ltd, where they worked on React and C# implementations for various clients. Earlier in their career, Philip worked as a Technical Lead at Piksel Inc. and ioko, where they developed Video-on-Demand applications for clients such as Channel 4 and AT&T. ⌨️ Philip also has experience working as a Senior Programmer at Vebra and as a Support Programmer at St Ives Direct. Philip began their career as a Technical Analyst at Nestle. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in a variety of technologies including node.js, React, React Native, C#, and Java.

Philip Benson attended Lancaster University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a BA in History. In 1998, they enrolled in St. Martin's College and completed a PGCE in Primary Education by 1999. Later, in 2001, they attended York College in York, United Kingdom, and graduated in 2003 with an HNC in Business IT.
