Rachel Bailey currently serves as the Deputy Director for Food and Drink Quality Partnerships at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, with responsibilities spanning food and drink manufacturing, geographic indicators regulations, public food procurement, and cross-Whitehall partnerships. Rachel also has experience as the Head of Setup for a new Environmental Governance Body, leading efforts to ensure the maintenance and improvement of England's environmental governance post-Brexit. Additionally, Rachel has held various managerial roles at Natural England since 2005, starting as a River Adviser and progressing to managerial positions overseeing multiple teams across the Hampshire and Isle of Wight regions.
