Shamina Samid

Shamina Samid is an experienced policy advisor currently working at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since July 2022, with prior roles as a private secretary and executive assistant within the same organization. Previous experience includes serving as a front of house assistant at Lansons for a brief period in 2022, and as a customer team member at Co-op from October 2018 to February 2022. While studying at City, University of London from September 2017 to June 2020, Shamina held the position of student representative, advocating for students’ concerns. Additionally, Shamina completed internships at the Department for Transport and Woodcraft Folk in 2019, contributing to research and policy support initiatives. Shamina holds a Bachelor of Science in Politics from City St George’s, University of London.
