David Tipping

David Tipping is an experienced international consultant and independent researcher with a robust background in project management, policy development, and research, particularly in water resources and sustainable urban development. Currently serving as Principal Associate at DeftEdge since July 2017, Tipping has held various significant roles, including Strategic Policy Manager for the Australian Government, where oversight of large-scale infrastructure projects exceeding $5.5 billion was a primary responsibility. Tipping's work as a Senior Research Fellow on the Cornell-Santorini Water Research Project involved proposing policy recommendations for water governance and securing UNESCO designation for a historical site. Moreover, Tipping has collaborated with the United Nations on sustainable development initiatives and earned multiple advanced degrees in public administration, business administration, and engineering from prestigious institutions.
