Jamie Verner

Jamie Verner has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and media. They started as a Forecourt Commissionaire at Creightons of Finaghy in 2012, where they learned important skills such as working autonomously and prioritizing health and safety.

In 2013, Jamie volunteered as a Radio Presenter at Lisburn's 98FM, where they gained experience in operating a music database and honed their communication skills.

From 2015 to 2016, Jamie worked as a Software Developer Internship at Invisibit Game Studio, where they learned about communication skills in a high-pressure environment and the value of teamwork.

In 2016, Jamie joined Worcester Media Lab as a media lab operative, taking on responsibilities in the lab.

In the same year, Jamie started working as a Software Developer at QuikPlan Ltd, initially as a Software Developer Internship and eventually transitioning into a full-time role. Their work at QuikPlan Ltd is ongoing.

In 2021, Jamie joined Sentel as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2022.

Currently, Jamie is with Deftpower as a Developer since 2022.

Jamie Verner attended the University of Worcester from 2014 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Game Development & Design.
