Cagdas Fidan

Cagdas Fidan currently serves as the Regional Marketing Director at Defy Appliances, where responsibilities include conducting market research, developing product strategies, and crafting marketing strategies across Sub Saharan Africa since April 2018. Previously, Cagdas held the position of Product Manager for Sub Saharan Africa at Defy Appliances and worked at Arçelik A.Ş. in various roles, including Senior Product Management Executive and Product Development Specialist, focusing on cooling appliances and product strategy for multiple regions. Cagdas began a professional journey in the industry with hands-on experience as a Production Engineer at Arçelik A.Ş. and completed internships at Bosch. Cagdas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi, an MBA from Koç University, a GNAM certification in Behavioral Marketing from Yale School of Management, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Financial Economics at İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi.
