Denny Rowlands

Denny Rowlands has over 15 years of work experience in the field of cybersecurity and IT. Denny'smost recent role is Senior Security Solutions Architect at Defy Security since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tanium from July 2019 to February 2023, holding positions such as Director of Technical Solutions Engineer and Director of Technical Account Management. Before Tanium, Denny served as Co-President at Cloud Security Alliance in the Greater Pittsburgh Area from May 2018 to August 2019. Denny also worked as a Security Solutions Architect at Fishtech Group from March 2018 to June 2019. Denny's experience also includes the role of Senior Security Solutions Architect at Ideal Integrations from March 2017 to March 2018. Denny previously held positions at Optiv Inc as a Security Solutions Architect from November 2014 to March 2017, at Forsythe as a Security Solutions Architect from August 2012 to November 2014, and at E-Safe Technologies as the Director of IT Security from November 2010 to August 2012. Denny started their career as a Security Analyst at CERT from June 2010 to November 2010, and as a Network Engineer at Premier Technologies from January 2007 to July 2010.

Denny Rowlands obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where they attended from 1999 to 2001. Following this, Denny pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, which they completed between 2003 and 2004.
