Doga Makiura

Doga Makiura is a seasoned professional currently serving as the President of the Japan Alliance for High Quality Carbon Credit, where the focus is on promoting and distributing high-integrity carbon credits to support global decarbonization efforts. As the Founder and CEO of Degas Ltd., Doga Makiura leads a tech startup aimed at empowering smallholders to enhance their incomes through high-quality products. Previous experience includes an Executive Producer role at Quipper, where global expansion and monetization strategies were developed, and a position as a Collaboration Researcher at The University of Tokyo, where a feasibility study for an information bank in Thailand was conducted. Doga Makiura also served as the Rwanda Representative for NPO e-Education, implementing an e-learning system in multiple schools to promote educational equality. Doga Makiura's educational background includes attendance at Cheltenham College, Strathallan School, and the University of Bristol.
