Alex Motzny

Alexander Motzny, P.E., S.E. is an accomplished structural engineer with extensive experience gained through various roles at Degenkolb Engineers since June 2014, including Associate, Project Engineer, Design Engineer, Designer, and Engineering Intern. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineering Aid at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and as a Structural Analysis Book Editor for professors at California State University, Fullerton. In addition, Alexander taught Engineering fundamentals to high school students and participated in a "Train the Trainers" program in Vietnam. An Engineering Research Assistant at California State University, Fullerton contributed to a seismic response mitigation project. Alexander holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton.
