Faiz Koyassan Veedu is a Vice President and Senior Engineer at DeGolyer and MacNaughton since May 2011, specializing in the evaluation and design of chemical and gas enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques. Prior to this role, Faiz served as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from January 2008 to March 2011, conducting significant research on chemical flooding simulations, proposing upscaling methodologies, and leading laboratory core flood experiments. Faiz also interned as a Reservoir Engineering Intern at Schlumberger in 2010, where responsibilities included creating reservoir models and testing EOR simulation capabilities. Faiz holds a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
