Maria Bychina

Maria Bychina, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of reservoir engineering. Maria started their career as a Well Test Engineer at Siam-Engineering in 2011 and later joined Ruspetro plc as a Production Engineer in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Weatherford until 2016. Maria then pursued further education and served as a Graduate Student at the University of Houston from 2015 to 2019. Currently, Maria holds the role of Senior Reservoir Engineer and Vice President at DeGolyer and MacNaughton, where they have been working since June 2019.

Maria Bychina, PhD, has an extensive education history. Maria earned their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston in the years 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Tomsk State University from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they hold a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Tomsk Polytechnic University, which they completed from 2009 to 2011. Maria also earned another Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Tomsk Polytechnic University in the years 2005 to 2009.
