Scott Brant has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Scott started their career in 2007 as an IT Support Specialist at Associated Business Systems, where they designed and built networks for businesses in the Oregon/Washington region and provided technical support for internal users. In 2009, they became the Owner of thegamesdb.net, a community-driven website that aimed to be the top resource for video game scraping. In 2011, they joined Xerox as an IT Manager, where they supported sites globally for client and internal initiatives and managed a team of over 18,000 end users. Scott also worked as a Network Administrator at Xerox, in charge of network access for 700+ users. In 2015, they joined Atmosera as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, responsible for architecting and maintaining public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Finally, in 2018, they began working at Degreed as an Azure Developer, responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Azure solutions and contributing to global cloud infrastructure scaling.

Scott Brant attended Heald College from 2003 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Network Administration. Prior to that, they graduated from high school in 2003.

In terms of certifications, Scott obtained the Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Deployment (AZ-100) certification and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification in May 2019. Scott also achieved the VMware Certified Associate - Cloud (VCA-C) and VMware Certified Associate - Data Center Virtualization (VCA-DCV) certifications in December 2013. Additionally, Scott obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification in October 2006.
