Gregg Betheil

Gregg Betheil is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in both executive roles and program management. As Chief Executive Officer and President of PENCIL, Inc. since May 2015, Betheil has significantly contributed to the organization’s impact on education. Involvement with the #DegreesNYC as Steering Committee Co-Chair and as a Council Member of NationSwell highlights a commitment to tackling critical social issues and enhancing community engagement. Prior experience at the NYC Department of Education from 2008 to 2014 includes positions such as Executive Director of Academic & Talent Management, where leadership was provided in areas of instructional expectations and teacher evaluation.
