Erik de Clippel

Erik De Clippel, CFA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and investment management. Currently serving as a Guest Lecturer at KU Leuven's Postgraduate program in Real Estate, Erik has been a Managing Partner in Corporate Finance and Head of Syndication at Degroof Petercam since April 2016, coordinating capital markets transactions including IPOs and bond issues. Additionally, Erik has been a Board Member at the Flanders Future Tech Fund since 2020, focusing on early-stage technology initiatives. Erik's previous roles include significant positions at KBC Securities, where responsibilities encompassed equity capital market transactions and corporate finance execution. A former member of the Board at the Belgium CFA Society, Erik has actively contributed to the promotion of ethical standards in the investment industry. Erik holds a magna cum laude degree in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven and has experience in market intelligence from Picanol China and project management at Philips International Research Centre.
