Abhishek Dokania is the SVP Output at DeHaat. Abhishek was previously the Business Development Manager at Carbon Watch from October 2009 to June 2013. Abhishek is responsible for initiating business ideas and implementing the viable opportunities. Abhishek was involved in preparation of reports which includes thorough analysis of Industry – regulatory aspect, understanding techno‐economic feasibility, selection of technology and rationale for investment in the project.

Abhishek initiated proposal and implementation of 6MW solar PV projects. The PPA was signed for 1MW solar PV. The project has been among the initial shortlist by IREDA under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (100 projects were selected out of more than 400 applications). Abhishek also submitted RFS for 5MW solar PV in Orissa to NVVN: The company has received the STC(state technical committee) approval for the project, which confirms the technical feasibility of the project, financial capability of the project of project proponent and fulfillment of key criteria like acquisition of land.

Abhishek was involved with the team through entire life cycle of project from initiation of proposal to signing of PPA, which included interaction with bankers for arranging debt, thorough, preparing DPR and other documents for application/tender, liasioning with officials, acquisition of land, screening and selection of technology, supplier and EPC contractor.

Abhishek created a strong pipeline of solar PV projects by getting state level approval in for 20MW in Bihar, 8MW in Orissa.

Abhishek Dokania has a MBA from Indian Institute of Planning and Management in Finance and Marketing. Abhishek completed their 10th Std from Milia Convent.
