Shelby Chollett, Ed.D.

Shelby Chollett, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Shelby is currently serving as the Chief Program Officer at DEI Directive since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools for several years, starting in August 2013 as a Secondary English Teacher and transitioning to roles as an Academic Achievement & Support Services Specialist and an Alternative Learning Program Teacher. In 2017, Dr. Chollett founded and served as the CEO of The Pedagogical Refinery, a company focused on educational development. Shelby also founded and worked as a Founder, Developer, Editor, and Designer at The Complete Athlete from October 2017 to April 2021. Dr. Chollett played an active role in ILT Studios and ILT Academy as a Co-Founder and Director of Educational Development from November 2019 to February 2021. Additionally, they served as the CEO and Founder of Hustle, an online platform for fitness, nutrition, and health specialists, from January 2019 to January 2021, aiming to connect these specialists with a global audience.

Shelby Chollett, Ed.D. obtained their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Administration and Leadership from St. Cloud State University between 2017 and 2020. Prior to this, they earned a K-12 Reading Endorsement from Concordia University-St. Paul in 2017 and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota between 2014 and 2016. Shelby Chollett also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Arts and Literature/ 5-12 Secondary Education that they acquired from St. Cloud State University from 2008 to 2012. Shelby completed their high school education and earned a High School Diploma from Andover High School in 2004. Additionally, in 2012, they obtained a Communication Arts and Literature 5-12 certification from the Minnesota Department of Education.
