Irene Yates is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tax advisory and business management consulting. Currently serving on the Board of Directors and as a Business Management Consultant at Deibel Laboratories since November 2021, Yates also provides tax advisory services at Salo starting April 2021. Previous roles include Vice President of Global Tax at Univar Solutions and McDonald's Corporation, and Senior Advisor at Aptis Global, LLC. Yates holds a JD from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law and an MBA in International Business and Finance from the University of Cincinnati's Carl H. Lindner College of Business, complemented by a BS in Business with a focus on Accounting from Miami University.

Deibel Laboratories started in 1967 by Dr. Robert Deibel, a true legend in the field of microbiology. Dr. Deibel is regarded as one of the foremost experts on foodborne microbial issues. As one of the HACCP “Founding Fathers”, he expanded Dr. Howard Bouman's three HACCP Principles into five and provided the first ever HACCP Short Course to the industry in the 1970's. From his first testing lab based in the hallways of the University of Wisconsin, the company has grown into a lab network with locations across North America.
