Kevin Haferkamp

Kevin Haferkamp has a diverse work experience in the field of data intelligence, analytics, and software development. Kevin is currently serving as the Head of Data Intelligence & Analytics at Deichmann since December 2022. Prior to that, they were the Lead Data & Analytics at Deichmann Digital from June 2021 to January 2023.

Before their role at Deichmann, Kevin worked at QuinScape GmbH, starting as a Software Developer from January 2012 to December 2014. Kevin then served as a Technical Consultant from December 2014 to May 2021, and later became the Principal Consultant Data & Analytics from April 2020 to May 2021.

Furthermore, Kevin worked at DO.IT Websolutions GbR as a Gesellschafter, where they developed and maintained PHP/Java backend systems and handled Linux server and desktop administration. This role lasted from January 2010 to January 2012.

Additionally, Kevin gained experience as an Anwendungsentwickler at Materna Information & Communications from August 2009 to January 2012, and as an IT-Kaufmann at EDV Service Schade from January 2007 to August 2008.

Kevin Haferkamp began their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Informatik from FernUniversität in Hagen in 2013. Kevin then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management, which they completed in 2017. In 2018, Kevin started a Master of Science (MS) degree in Praktische Informatik at FernUniversität in Hagen, and subsequently transferred to the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund in 2019 to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik. Alongside their formal education, they have obtained various certifications in cloud analytics, big data development, and data integration administration from institutions such as Snowflake, Cloud Analytics Academy, and Talend.
