Daniel Thomas

Daniel Thomas is an experienced educator currently serving as a Year Group Leader and Class Teacher at Deira International School since August 2022, recognized as the School Team of the Year at the Education Excellence Awards 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Class Teacher and Social Sciences, Moral Education, and Sustainability Lead at GEMS Wellington International School from August 2020 to August 2022. From September 2017 to August 2020, Daniel was a Class Teacher at Stockport Council, where responsibilities included leading assessment, curriculum, and pupil premium initiatives. Daniel's teaching background also includes a position at Derbyshire County Council from September 2015 to August 2017 and various roles in the recruitment and business development sectors. Daniel holds a PGCE Primary (Primary Education with QTS) from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University.
