Justin Turcotte has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they became a Software Developer at Dejero. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Engineering Intern at Sera4 from September to December 2020, where they were responsible for quality control, testing, and configuration of products. Justin also conducted research on improving padlocks in cold environments. Before this, Justin was a Software Development Student at BlackBerry from January to April 2020. Justin integrated an external sensor into the QNX Sensor Framework and configured a Nucleo-F767ZI to run FreeRTOS. In 2016, Justin worked as a Supervisor at Bulk Barn Foods Limited, where they led a team and ensured efficiency and smooth operation of the store. Lastly, Justin served as a Software Developer Student - OS Core at BlackBerry from May to August 2019. Justin contributed to a custom Raspberry Pi build for endpoint IoT devices and solved various bugs in the Yocto build by modifying bootup services.
Justin Turcotte completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Systems Engineering at Conestoga College from 2017 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in C++ Essential Training, Learning Python, and Learning C++, all from LinkedIn, in October and November of 2021.
