Josh Pethel

Josh Pethel is an incoming Tax Intern at DeJoy & Co. as of October 2024, with a diverse background in coaching, finance, and operations. Currently serving as a Junior Coach and Leadership Outreach Volunteer at First Tee - Western New York, Josh also contributes to the University of Rochester's Men's Hockey team as a Support Staff Member and Equipment Manager. Previous experiences include roles at Canterbury Golf Club as a Caddie, at Re-Member as a Program Supervisor, and in Golf Operations at Fox Den Golf Course. Additional professional experiences encompass a position at Goldman Sachs participating in the Virtual Insight Series, leading men's club ice hockey operations at Denison University, and working as a Delivery Driver for DoorDash. Josh is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance at the University of Rochester, following studies at The London School of Economics and Denison University, where a focus on Financial Economics and Mathematics was pursued. High school education was completed at Mercersburg Academy and Western Reserve Academy.
