Aranganathan S.

Aranganathan S. has over 14 years of professional work experience in the field of biosciences, beginning with a Visiting Fellow position at the National Cancer Institute. Aranganathan has since held research positions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, and at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where they worked as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher. Aranganathan's work at the latter involved identifying RNA processing proteins and resolving issues with homogeneity and crystallography to determine the first nuclear-PRORP crystal structure. Aranganathan has also worked in the private sector, taking on roles at PROTEIN BIOSOLUTIONS INC. and Sirnaomics, Inc. as a Senior Scientist. In 2013, Aranganathan served as an Editorial Board Member at Protein Expression and Purification (Elsevier). Most recently, they have taken on a role as Principal Scientist at Deka Biosciences, Inc, beginning in 2023.

Aranganathan S. obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. Aranganathan later pursued a Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at National Tsing Hua University.
