John Kerwin

John Kerwin has extensive experience in engineering, with a career spanning over two decades at DEKA Research & Development. Currently serving as Lead Systems Engineer, John oversees a large class 2 medical device development project involving a team of over 100 members and manages five system engineers. Previous roles include developing Android-based user interfaces, leading a team on the DARPA Prosthetic Arm Project, and overseeing control systems for the IBOT transporter. With a background in designing Stirling engines and a dual degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, John brings a robust skill set in system architecture, algorithm development, and FDA submission processes.
