John Mannisto

John Mannisto is an experienced technical leader specializing in simulation-driven engineering, currently working at DEKA Research & Development since October 2015. Previously, John served as Engineering Director of Simulation Based Design at Whirlpool Corporation from September 2009 to October 2015 and held the position of Director of Structural/Thermal Engineering Services at CD-adapco from January 1991 to November 2009, where responsibilities included overseeing engineering teams utilizing advanced simulation tools such as STAR-CCM+, ABAQUS, ANSYS, and PERMAS. John began their career as an engineer at John Deere Rotary Engine from 1985 to 1990, and holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, achieved between 1980 and 1987.
