Dr. Georgy Kharlamov

Dr. Georgy Kharlamov has an extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dr. Georgy currently holds the position of Credit Risk Management Vice President at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale. Prior to this, they worked as a Vice President in the Structured Finance department of the same company. Before joining DekaBank, Dr. Kharlamov served as the Director of Project Finance Advisory at Global Capital Finance. Dr. Georgy also had a role as a Credit Officer in the Credit Policy department of Dagong Europe Credit Ratings. Dr. Kharlamov gained experience in ratings and finance at Fitch Ratings, where they held various positions, including Director in Corporate Ratings and Analyst to Director in the Structured Finance sector. Dr. Georgy started their career with internships in Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Allianz Global Investors, Commerzbank (Eurasija), Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and Dresdner Bank AG, focusing on global markets, capital markets, risk management, and credit risk portfolio analysis.

Dr. Georgy Kharlamov earned a Ph.D in Quantitative Finance from Goethe University Frankfurt in the years 2010 to 2012. Before that, they obtained a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics from the same university between 2007 and 2010. Dr. Georgy began their educational journey at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2002 to 2007, where they studied Economics.
