Dr. Marco Albers

Dr. Marco Albers has a diverse work experience in various financial institutions. Dr. Marco started their career as a Credit Analyst at Landesbank Rheinland-Pfalz in 1997. After that, they worked as a Vice President at Credit Lyonnais from 2000 to 2003, and then at KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH from 2004 to 2007. In 2008, they joined ING Bank as the Head of Asset Based Finance Shipping in Amsterdam. From 2011 to 2016, Dr. Albers worked as the Managing Director and Head of Transport & Export Finance at DekaBank. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Infrastructure, Transport & Export Finance as well as Managing Director at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale.

Dr. Marco Albers completed their education with a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Cal von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg in 1997. Dr. Marco went on to earn a PhD in Corporate Governance from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2002. In 1992 and 1993, they also studied Business Administration at Towson University.
