Judith Hommel has a range of work experience in the financial sector. Judith started their career at Deutsche Bundesbank as a Referent Bankenaufsicht from April 2008 to December 2009. Judith then worked at KPMG Deutschland as a Manager from January 2010 to December 2014. Following that, Judith joined DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale, where they held the position of Senior Financial and Regulatory Services from January 2015 to March 2022 before transitioning into their current role as the Market Risk Management Treasury Vice President, which they started in April 2022.

Judith Hommel completed their education at the University of Bayreuth. Judith earned a Diplom Volkswirt degree in Volkswirtschaftslehre from 1998 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a Dr. rer. pol. degree in Volkswirtschaftslehre from 2004 to 2007.
