Mauro Toldo, CFA, CIIA has extensive work experience in various roles within the financial and economic sectors. Mauro began their career as an Intern at the Statistical Office in Munich in 1995. In 1998, they pursued an internship at the Provincial Administration in Vicenza, Italy. From 2000 to 2004, they worked at DG Bank as an Intern in Fixed Income Research, followed by a position as a Fixed Income Analyst at DZ Bank from 2001 to 2004. In 1999, they served as a Student Assistant at The University of Bonn in the Institute for International Economics. In 2004, they joined DekaBank, where they initially worked as a Senior Economist in Country Risk Analysis, before being promoted to the role of Head of Emerging Markets and Country Risk Analysis in 2007. Throughout their career, Mauro Toldo has developed a strong expertise in financial analysis and risk assessment in both domestic and international markets.

Mauro Toldo, CFA, CIIA completed a Master's level program in Hand-on Anthropology and Ethnographic Storytelling with a focus on Anthropology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Diplom degree in Volkswirt from The University of Bonn between 1995 and 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Mauro Toldo has obtained several certifications. These include certifications in Data Storytelling and Visualization from The Economist, Data Science - Grundlagen from LinkedIn, and Narrative Economics from Yale University.
