Sabina Gasimova

Sabina Gasimova has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Sabina began their career as a Praktikantin at the Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan in 2006, followed by an internship at the International Bank of Azerbaijan in 2007. In 2011, they joined KPMG as an Assistant Managerin and worked there until 2014. Sabina then moved to GE Capital as an Economic Capital Risk Analyst from 2014 to 2015. Since 2015, Sabina has been working at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale, starting as a Risk Modeling Specialist until 2018, then transitioning into a Risk Model Validation Specialist until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Risk Model Validation at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale.

Sabina Gasimova earned a Bachelor of Science in Angewandte Mathematik from Baku State University in 2008. Sabina then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Wirtschaftsmathematik from The Philipp University of Marburg in 2011. In 2014, they also obtained a Financial Risk Manager certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
