Michael Costello has extensive experience in the legal and law enforcement fields. Currently serving as an Assistant District Attorney at the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office since November 2021, Michael previously worked as an Assistant Solicitor for the Fulton County Government. Michael's law enforcement career includes a lengthy tenure as a Police Officer with the City of Atlanta. In addition to practical experience, Michael has held various legal roles, such as a Legal Extern at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a Law Student Intern at the HeLP Legal Services Clinic during law school. Michael holds a Doctor of Law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (CUNY), and an Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Middlesex College.
