Bret Parker

Bret Parker is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in firearms instruction and defensive tactics. Currently serving as a Deputy for the Dekalb County Sheriffs Department since January 2017, Bret specializes in handgun, shotgun, patrol rifle, and less-than-lethal training. Prior to this role, from March 2014 to March 2019, Bret served as a Deputy Marshal at the Ashley Police Department. Additional experience includes a 15-year tenure as a Cold Mill Supervisor at Steel Dynamics, Inc., and a previous role with the Angola Police Department from March 2003 to March 2014. Bret's educational background includes attendance at Auburndale High School.
