Lisa Gorchels

Lisa Gorchels has over 30 years of experience in the education sector, specializing in special education. Since August 2006, Lisa has held the position of Coordinator of Special Programs at DeKalb School District #428. Prior to this role, Lisa served as a Special Education Teacher in two different school districts, DeKalb Community Unit School District from 1990 to 2001 and Green Bay Area Public School District from 1988 to 1990. Lisa's educational background includes a Master's degree in Educational Administration obtained from Northern Illinois University between 2008 and 2010, a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the same university from 2001 to 2005, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education earned at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1981 to 1986.
