Hannah Feil Greenhood

Hannah is part of the leadership team and an architect at Dekker/Perich/Sabatini with expertise in multi-family housing, senior living, and mixed-use projects.

At D/P/S, she leads the firm’s Senior Living Innovation Team - a research-led group looking for what is next in the senior living market. In addition and in partnership, she leads the Health and Wellness in the Built Environment Initiative which uses evidence-based design concepts to integrate health and wellness design concepts in all project types across the firm: senior living, multi-family housing, commercial retail, mixed-use, healthcare, K-12 education, higher education, civic buildings, landscape and interior design.

Hannah helps clients navigate the requirements of multi-family and seniors housing projects through tax credit applications, HUD financing, local requirements across several markets, and through sustainability programs such as LEED for Homes, Energy Star for New Homes, Enterprise Green Communities, Fitwel, WELL and many more.

She is a native New Mexican (Las Cruces, NM) who thrives to help bring New Mexico to its full potential. Passionate about design, technology, the environment, and creating places for communities to grow, Hannah focuses on bringing health and wellbeing to the forefront of design.

In addition to being one of the first WELL Accredited Professionals in the country, a certification that signifies knowledge in human wellness in the built environment, she has actively worked to bring health and wellness into many projects through the WELL Building Standard and other wellness concepts. She has presented and published several works about the WELL Building Standard, multifamily housing and technology.

Hannah's active community involvement includes serving on the board of NAIOP New Mexico, the Developing Leaders Council for NAIOP New Mexico, Leadership Albuquerque, CREW New Mexico, and as a K-8 classroom volunteer teaching STEM through architectural concepts.
