Tom Myles

Tom Myles has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tom is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Deko since July 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of CTO at Barclays from January 2021 to July 2021. In this role, they were responsible for the development and delivery of enterprise payment services, working with a team of over 150 IT professionals worldwide.

Before joining Barclays, Tom worked at The ai Corporation as CTO from August 2014 to March 2018. Tom also briefly served as a Director in the same company during March 2014 to August 2014. At The ai Corporation, Tom led the development and delivery of machine learning technologies for payments and fraud managed services, collaborating with top UK universities.

From January 2013 to March 2014, Tom worked as the Head of Professional Services - Europe at CyberSource. Prior to that, they held the position of Delivery Director - Outsourced Card Payments at Logica from September 2011 to January 2013.

Tom has also worked as a Fraud and Risk Management Consultant at Accourt from January 2011 to September 2011. Before that, they held various roles at Retail Decisions, including Head of Service Delivery - EMEA from January 2010 to February 2011, Head of Service Delivery - Europe from June 2007 to December 2009, and Service Delivery Manager from March 2006 to June 2007.

Tom started their career at Lloyds TSB Bank plc as a Payments Mainframe Operations analyst - Credit and Debit from March 1999 to March 2004. Throughout their career, Tom has gained expertise in technology leadership, payment services, fraud management, and service delivery in the banking and financial industry.

Tom Myles attended Royal Holloway, University of London from 1996 to 1999, where they studied Mathematics. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile in May 2019.
