Emma Armstrong

Emma Armstrong currently serves as a Process Safety Chemist at DEKRA North America and previously worked as a Laboratory Technician at DEKRA. With expertise in designing and executing experiments to assess chemical and physical hazards, Emma specializes in flammability testing for refrigerant blends and adheres to ASHRAE standards. Educationally, Emma holds a Master of Education in Chemistry Education from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Gettysburg College, complemented by studies at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway. Past roles include serving as a House Leader at Gettysburg College, conducting undergraduate research on vitamin B12 variations, and assisting in organic chemistry labs. In earlier employment, Emma gained experience in customer service as a Fast Food Cook at Jersey Mike's Subs and as a Brand Associate at Old Navy.
