Abigael Quincena is an experienced educator currently serving as a 3rd Grade Teacher at The Learning Choice Academy since August 2019, specializing in hybrid homeschool instruction. Additionally, Abigael has held various teaching roles at Thrive Public Schools, including 1st and 2nd Grade Teacher, and works as an Intervention Specialist at Del Mar Union School District. Abigael's background in special education includes a position as a Special Education Aide with ACES and experience as a Behavioral Interventionist focused on supporting children on the Autism spectrum. Prior experience includes an Executive Intern role at the District Office of Senator Joel Anderson, where interaction with the community and local businesses was key. Abigael holds a Master of Education from High Tech High Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from UC San Diego.
