DEL VALLE ISD
Dr. Ruth Vail is an experienced educational administrator currently serving in various roles within Del Valle Independent School District since October 2011, including Administrator of Advanced Academic Programs, High School Administrator, and Director of Bilingual/ESL Education. Dr. Vail has successfully implemented Bilingual/ESL programs for grades PK-12, conducted needs assessments, and coordinated professional development for educators. Previous roles include Principal in both Dallas Independent School District and YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, as well as Assistant Principal and Bilingual Teacher in Dallas ISD. Education includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration from The University of Texas at Austin, along with degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Education, Texas Woman's University, and Southern Methodist University.
