Chip Gibson has diverse work experience in HR consulting and insurance. Chip is currently the Co-Founder of GRIP HR Consulting, which they started in 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates from 2006 onwards, where they held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Vice President. In these roles, they served as a Risk Advisor for personal and commercial risks and specialized in lowering clients' Total Cost of Risk. Before joining Deland, Gibson Insurance Associates, they worked at Brown Brothers Harriman as a Senior Client Account Manager from 2005 to 2006.

Chip Gibson attended the Dexter School from 1994 to 1996 for their primary school education. Chip then attended the Belmont Hill School from 1997 to 2000 for their high school education. After completing high school, they enrolled at Syracuse University from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Chip Gibson has also obtained several certifications in the insurance industry. In 2009, they obtained the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) certification from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. In 2011, they earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) certification from The Institutes. In 2013, they achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) certification through The National Alliance.
