Carol Arny

Carol Arny has extensive experience in education and research, currently serving as a Circulation Associate at the Delaware County District Library since March 2019. Prior to this role, Carol held various positions within Buckeye Valley Local Schools from July 2001 to December 2018, including Resident Educator Mentor, High School Integrated Science Teacher, and Elementary Science Teacher Leader, where responsibilities included mentoring new teachers, collaborating on curriculum development, and enhancing student learning through technology and hands-on experiences. Earlier in their career, Carol worked as a Plant Pathology Research Assistant at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, where research focused on vegetable crop diseases. Academically, Carol earned a Master’s degree in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Forest Biology from Colorado State University.
