Molly Meyers Labadie

Molly Meyers LaBadie has a strong background in the library field, with extensive experience in various roles. Molly is currently the Deputy Director at Delaware County District Library, where they oversee a wide range of public services functions and is involved in leadership, levy, training, and administrative projects. Prior to this, they worked at Worthington Public Library for many years. Molly served as a Trainer, responsible for the training needs of new and current staff, as well as creating and presenting technology training programs for the community. Molly also held positions as the Youth Services Lead Librarian at the Northwest Library and as a Children's Librarian.

Molly Meyers LaBadie earned a Master of Library and Information Science degree with a specialization in Youth Services from the University of South Carolina from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Philosophy degree through the Western College Program at Miami University from 1995 to 1999. Molly also completed additional certifications including "Hiring, Managing, and Separating from Employees," "Interviewing Techniques," and "Communication Fundamentals" from Lynda.com in 2018 and 2016. Furthermore, Molly participated in leadership programs such as Leadership Worthington in 2013-2014 and Leadership Delaware in 2018-2019, although these programs did not grant any specific degrees or field of study.
