Steve Kuerschner

Steve Kuerschner has over 35 years of experience in education, specializing in services for individuals with visual impairments. Currently serving as the Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired at Delaware County Intermediate Unit since September 1988, Steve provides itinerant services to K-12 students, conducts Functional Vision and Learning Media Assessments, and collaborates with Salus University for Low Vision Evaluations. Prior to this role, Steve was a Special Education Teacher at Elwyn from 1983 to 1988, working with students aged 16-21 in a Secondary Program. Steve's academic background includes a Master of Education from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
