Delaware County Literacy Council (DCLC)
Chris Zakorchemny is an experienced ESL teacher currently working at the Delaware County Literacy Council since March 2019. In addition to teaching, Chris has been a freelance journalist since May 2007, contributing to various publications including The Big Takeover Magazine and WXPN. With a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Penn State University, Chris has previously served as a practicum teacher and ESOL tutor, focusing on international students and professionals. Additional roles include teaching English at Jilin Medical College, tutoring students in various subjects, and engaging in writing and marketing internships across the music and media industries. Chris holds a post-baccalaureate teaching certificate and a bachelor's degree in Magazine Journalism from Temple University.
