Kenneth W. currently serves as the New Castle County Councilman for the 1st District, a role held since May 2016. In addition, Kenneth has been a Business Representative for Sheet Metal Workers' Local 19 since July 2015, advocating for members' rights and jurisdiction. As Chairman of the 13th Representative District for the Delaware Democratic Party since January 2007, Kenneth focuses on membership growth and political awareness. Kenneth also serves as a Board Member for the Red Clay Consolidated School District since June 2008, where responsibilities include policy establishment for the district. Previously, from September 2002 to January 2014, Kenneth worked as an Area Marketing Representative for the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association Local Union 19, promoting union membership among non-signatory contractors. Kenneth W. graduated from Wilmington High School in 1986.

Delaware Democratic Party
The Delaware Democratic Party is the affiliate of the Democratic Party in the state of Delaware, headquartered in unincorporated New Castle County. The Delaware Democratic Party is one of the two biggest parties in the state of Delaware (the other being the Republican Party) and has existed since the Jacksonian Democrats broke away from the Federalists in 1825. Besides their most prominent current political figure, Vice President Joe Biden, the party has occupies all federal seats for the state in Congress and currently has majority control over the state legislative and executive branch.
