Jonathan Wickert

Jonathan Wickert, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) and STEM Initiatives at the Delaware Department of Education, where a focus is placed on delivering high-quality CTE programs and expanding apprenticeship systems. Prior experience includes roles as an Education Associate, managing postsecondary programs under the Perkins V Act, and Chief of Interpretation at Delaware State Parks, where leadership of public education programs and strategic planning was emphasized. Jonathan's extensive background in education also includes serving as an instructional advisor and social studies teacher at Caesar Rodney High School, as well as owning an eco-tourism business. Academic qualifications consist of a Doctor of Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University, accompanied by a Master’s and Bachelor's degree from Frostburg State University, both in education-related fields.
