Dan Niblett

Dan Niblett has been working in the engineering field since 1993. Dan began their career at Webcraft Technologies as an Electrician, where they maintained, designed and built PLC and data acquisition systems, as well as industrial control and automation systems. In 1997, they moved to Pliant as an Electrician. In 1999, they became a Systems Administrator at Perdue Farms. In 2006, they joined Shorite Controls as a Programmer and Project Manager, where they programmed PLC's, HMI's and SCADA Systems using Wonderware, RSView, Iconics, Indusoft and others, and integrated industrial controls including VFD's, DC Drives, flowmeters, transducers, analyzers, and chart recorders. In 2014, they began working as an Instructor for Introduction to Electronics and Electrical Troubleshooting at Wor-Wic Community College. Most recently, in 2021, they started working as a Scada Engineer at Delaware Electric Cooperative, Inc.

Dan Niblett attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Dan also attended Wor-Wic Community College from 1999 to 2005, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology.
