Jill Karlson has extensive experience in public engagement and programming within the museum and educational sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Public Engagement and Director of Public Programming at the Delaware Museum of Natural History since March 2013, Jill previously worked as the Curator of Education at Brandywine Zoo from February 1996 to March 2013. Jill's career also includes a role as Public Program Coordinator at Delaware Nature Society from March 1994 to February 1996, and as Education Assistant at The Virginia Living Museum from March 1990 to July 1992. Jill holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from William & Mary (1992-1997) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Palm Beach Atlantic University (1985-1987), in addition to studies at Moraine Valley Community College (1983-1985).
