Olivia McDonald is an experienced professional in environmental education and conservation, currently serving as a Park Naturalist and Program Coordinator for the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control since November 2016, focusing on Delaware Seashore State Park and the Indian River Life Saving Station. In addition, Olivia has been a Teacher Naturalist and Weekend Site Staff member at the Delaware Nature Society Inc since September 2014, contributing to the Abbott's Mill Nature Center. Olivia's prior experience includes serving as a Blue Hen Ambassador and communication staff at the University of Delaware from September 2010 to June 2014, along with an internship at Trap Pond State Park during the summer of 2013. Olivia holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Delaware, completed in 2014, with a minor in Environmental Humanities and a concentration in People, Society, and Sustainability.
