Deyon Dean

Deyon Dean is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public service and consulting. From November 2003 to August 2012, Deyon served as Associate Director at the Illinois Department of Human Services, Bureau of Recruitment and Selection, managing a $28MM annual budget and leading community support systems across five regions. Subsequent roles included Mayor of the Village of Riverdale from May 2009 to May 2013, where Deyon balanced a $38MM budget for 15,000 residents, and Consultant at D. Dean Consulting since May 2013, focusing on relationship building and revenue generation between government and businesses. Currently, Deyon holds the position of Regional Nonprofit Recruiter at Delaware North, overseeing nonprofit group recruitment for major venues in St. Louis. Deyon studied Business Administration and Management at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
