Rob Finnegan has a diverse work experience in the field of security and safety. Rob is currently serving as the Chief Security & Safety Officer at the Delaware River Port Authority, where they oversee the Public Safety Department, Department of Homeland Security & Emergency Management, and the Office of Cybersecurity. Rob is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, budgeting, and ensuring the effective operation of each department. Prior to this role, they held the position of Acting Chief of Police in the same organization, where they supervised various departments and units related to the agency's highways, bridges, tunnels, mass transit system, and port facilities. Additionally, they have worked as the Chief Security & Safety Officer at the Port Authority Transit Corporation. Rob Finnegan is also set to join the FDU School of Public and Global Affairs as an Adjunct Professor in 2023.
